Ok, this is my second day of blogging and this time I’m going to talk about sports.
First, my experiences with sports, I’ve played football and lacrosse in the past two years. In lacrosse we were the state champions with the mountain lax team and in football with the Predators I didn’t even make the playoffs. But it was fun, that’s all that matters. Let me tell you it’s more fun winning!
Now let me tell you about the Denver pro teams. One of the great things about living in Denver is that we have professional teams for every sport. Lacrosse, hockey, football, baseball, and basketball isn’t that crazy? For lacrosse, there are two teams Mammoth http://www.coloradomammoth.com for inside and Outlaws http://www.denveroutlaws.com for outside. For hockey we have the best team ever: the Colorado Avalanche http://avalanche.nhl.com/. I try to watch as many avs games as I can and my favorite player is Paul Stastny. I’m wearing his jersey right now! Football: there’s the Broncos http://www.denverbroncos.com/ . The Broncos almost always beat the Raiders! I think Jay Cutler is one of the best QBs in the NFL. He has a rocket throw that he uses to hit receivers even when they’re covered. When it comes to baseball we have the actual typo corrected by Dad (Rockies) http://colorado.rockies.mlb.com. They went to the World Series last year! They didn’t do so well but at least they made it. The Denver Nuggets http://www.nba.com/nuggets/ are doing pretty good this year with a lot of help from Carmelo Anthony also known as Melo. Just yesterday he was the second player ever to score 33 points in one QUARTER! Right now the Nuggets are in second place in the Western Conference!
